To submit a bid:

- Upload it when you click the “Submit Bid” button
All bids must have an actual price good date and be itemized to be considered a valid quote. Any bids received without the requested information will be voided. All bids must be received by 4:30 p.m. on the due date.
Please be advised that all bid submissions must be submitted exclusively through the Housing Bid Board unless otherwise noted for Request for Proposals (Sealed Bids). Any bids submitted via email, mail, or other means will not be accepted or considered.
Special Instructions
Home is a 3-bed 2-bath, brick home, approx. 1500 sq. ft. metal roof. Slab on grade. All prospective contractors are required to visit the project site before submitting a bid. Change orders due to conditions that could have been identified during the site visit will not be considered or approved. All work done must meet or exceed the 2019 IRC. All applicable licenses apply. It is highly recommended that contractors view the job before bidding. The contractor is responsible for all line locates and permits required. Contractor will be responsible for the cleanup and removal of all waste and repairing the yard back to mowing condition. Homeowner/Property Manager will select any/all colors used for the job. Special Equipment
The Contractor is to provide a storage container and move all the contents out of the house before working on the inside and back into the house after the job is completed.
Plumbing
Remove and replace the tub/shower in the main bath. Install new walk-in tub approx. 60x30x36 and surround, with Swan-Stone or comparable, must be a minimum of 1/4” thickness. FRP will not be accepted as a tub/shower surround. Install a new 50-gal. water heater specifically for the new tub. Use all materials required for completion to include ALL electrical supply and components needed for proper installation. Repair/replace any all drywall, trim, sub and finish flooring, and paint needed due to repairs.
Special Construction
At the North entry of the home, build an attached carport approx. 20' x 20' with a gravel base for easy access to the home. Remove and dispose of the old porch. The contractor will be responsible for moving/ relocating any utilities as needed.
Air Conditioning
Remove and replace the existing HVAC unit. Install a new minimum 14.3 SEER2 rated energy efficient electric heat pump unit. Install new copper line-set, appropriate filter drier, thermostat, and registers. Caulk all ceiling drops to drywall before air register installation. Seal the return air cavity with drywall for energy efficiency. Insulate the duct where needed. Replace the plenum if required for proper fitment of the new unit. If duct board is to be used for transition to plenum, all joints must be foil-taped, and an acrylic latex or mastic sealant is to be applied over foil-taped joints. The contractor will be responsible for the proper sizing of the new unit. The contractor must provide the AHRI certificate for the equipment to be installed with the bid.
Electrical
Remove/ replace the vent/ fan/ heater in both bathrooms.
Doors
Remove and replace the back French door. Install 1 approx. 6' French door. Install all trim required for proper fit and finish. Install new combination, keyed alike hardware, Kwikset or comparable. Caulk and seal inside and out. Paint to match new or existing finishes. Remove and replace the master bedroom interior door. Install new pre-hung interior door, trim, and hardware (Kwikset or comparable). Stain or paint to match new or existing finishes.
Flooring
Remove existing floor covering throughout the home, install new waterproof floating vinyl plank flooring with a minimum 3/16” thick flooring. Pull the toilet and install flooring up to the floor flange. Remove all old base trim and install all new baseboard trim required for proper fit and finish. Stain or paint to match new or existing finishes. The participant will choose a color.
