Instructions

To submit a bid:

  1. Download the RFQ form
  2. Fill out the form
  3. Upload it when you click the “Submit Bid” button

All bids must have an actual price good date and be itemized to be considered a valid quote. Any bids received without the requested information will be voided. All bids must be received by 4:30 p.m. on the due date.

Please be advised that all bid submissions must be submitted exclusively through the Housing Bid Board unless otherwise noted for Request for Proposals (Sealed Bids). Any bids submitted via email, mail, or other means will not be accepted or considered.

  • Special Instructions

    All prospective contractors are required to visit the project site before submitting a bid. Change orders due to conditions that could have been identified during the site visit will not be considered or approved. Home is a 3-bed 2 bath, brick home approx. 1422 sq. ft. shingle roof. Slab on grade. Leslie James at 580-372-3721 Inspector- Phillip Hotella at 580-579-5100. All work done must meet or exceed 2019 IRC. All applicable licenses apply. It is highly recommended contractor view job before biding. Contractor is responsible for all line locates and permits required Contractor will be responsible for cleanup and removal of all waste and repair yard back to mowing condition. Homeowner/Property Manager will select any/all colors used for the job. Contractor is responsible for all measurements, and count of materials needed.

  • Flooring

    Install new waterproof floating vinyl plank flooring with a minimum 3/16” thick flooring throughout the house. Pull the toilet and install flooring up to the floor flange. Install all new trim required for proper fit and finish. The property manager will choose the color. Remove and replace all baseboards, door trim, and window trim throughout the house. Install new trim matching the existing. Contact Leslie James for approval of the new trim and flooring.

  • Drywall

    Repair drywall throughout the house tape, bed, texture and paint to match existing finish.

  • Painting

    Pressure wash the exterior of the home and the floor in the garage. Paint all walls, ceiling, doors, trim, fascia, and siding min. 2 coats of paint. The property manager will choose colors. Caulk all cracks in siding, fascia, and trim, and around all windows before painting.

  • Doors

    Remove and replace 2 entry doors. Install 2 pre-hung six-panel insulated metal doors. Install all trim required for proper fit and finish. Install new combination, keyed alike hardware, Kwikset or comparable. Caulk and seal inside and out. Paint to match new or existing finishes. Remove and replace all damaged interior doors, approx. 2. Install new pre-hung interior doors matching existing, trim, and hardware (Kwikset or comparable). Stain or paint to match new or existing finishes. Remove and replace all door stops throughout the house, install new door stops matching the existing. Remove and replace the garage overhead door seal. Remove and replace the garage entry door hinges, install new spring door hinges, and adjust the door to shut properly.

  • Special Instructions

    Clean the home to be move-in ready when the work is done, including all windows, registers, grills, cabinets, bathrooms, etc.. haul off everything that was left by the previous homeowner. Spray the home for roaches before starting the repairs and again when the work is done. Remove and replace all damaged/missing window screens. Overlay the bottom of the stained cabinet drawers and cabinet bottoms. Install the new refrigerator and stove that housing will provide. Install a new dishwasher matching the existing one. Install new anchor bolts for the gate latch to be secured to the home. Remove the extra post in the yard. Remove the dish from the roof and seal around the bracket. Install all new blinds throughout the house. Seal the crack in the brick by the garage door using polyurethane sealant. Remove and replace the damaged cabinet drawer slide.

  • Gutter Installation or repair

    Replace all damaged downspout elbows approx 3. Replace all splash blocks. Run the downspout that is in the flower bed to drain onto the sidewalk.

  • Electrical

    Remove and replace all light fixtures and ceiling fans throughout the home. Install all missing, damaged cover plates/boxes, including outside. Remove and replace all smoke detectors throughout the house.

  • Mechanical-HVAC

    Clean the A coil and the condenser. Replace the air filter. Replace the t-stat.

  • Plumbing

    Run the water heater drain pan through the exterior wall seal around it, inside and outside. Connect the pressure release valve drain to the drain line going outside. ADA shower, remove and replace the shower in the master bathroom. Install new low-entry shower base and surround, with Swan-Stone or comparable, must be a minimum of 1/4” thickness. Replace the shower handle and mixing valve with a Delta or comparable. Install 2 ADA grab bars, an adjustable height handheld shower faucet with its own adjustable guide rod, apart from the grab bars. and portable seat. FRP will not be accepted as a tub/shower surround. Repair/replace any all drywall, trim, sub and finish flooring, and paint needed due to repairs.

  • Earth Work

    Remove and reinstall the HVAC outside unit, and grade the yard to drain away from the home. Install a french drain from the back of the home to go under the driveway and drain into the ditch will need to cut the driveway and make all repairs to bring the driveway back to its existing condition. Grade the swell away in the back yard to drain away from the home, and go to the property line. Install 3 catch basins in the french drain and connect the downspouts on that side of the home. Connect the downspout from the neighbor's house number 401 to the french drain as well.
