To submit a bid:

- Upload it when you click the “Submit Bid” button
All bids must have an actual price good date and be itemized to be considered a valid quote. Any bids received without the requested information will be voided. All bids must be received by 4:30 p.m. on the due date.
Please be advised that all bid submissions must be submitted exclusively through the Housing Bid Board unless otherwise noted for Request for Proposals (Sealed Bids). Any bids submitted via email, mail, or other means will not be accepted or considered.
Special Instructions
Home is a 2-bed, 1-bath frame home, approx. 1400 sq. ft., shingle roof. Slab on grade. All prospective contractors are required to visit the project site before submitting a bid. Change orders due to conditions that could have been identified during the site visit will not be considered or approved. Any questions, please call. Special Instructions
All work done must meet or exceed the 2019 IRC. All applicable licenses apply. It is highly recommended that contractors view the job before bidding. The contractor is responsible for all line locates and permits. The contractor will be responsible for the cleanup and removal of all waste, and for returning the repair yard to mowing condition. The homeowner will select any/all colors used for the job. The contractor is responsible for all measurements and the count of materials needed.
Plumbing
Remove and replace the existing tub/shower. Install a new ADA roll-in shower pan with a collapsible shower dam and surround, with Swan-Stone or comparable, with a minimum of 1/4” thickness. Replace the shower handle and mixing valve with Delta or a comparable brand. Install 2 ADA grab bars and an adjustable-height handheld shower faucet with its own adjustable guide rod, separate from the grab bars. FRP will not be accepted as a tub/shower surround. Repair/replace any drywall, trim, sub and finish flooring, and paint needed due to repairs. (Install the shower pan as close as possible to the toilet, approx. 34"x 60" pan). Install a curved shower rod. Remove the existing vanity and install a new wall-hung vanity sink, faucet, drain, shut-offs, and supply lines. Install an ADA grab bar at the toilet from wall to floor; install all required backing in the wall for grab bars.
Doors
Widen the bathroom door to a 32" door will require moving the switches/electrical over to clear the new door. Install a new pre-hung interior door, trim, and hardware (Kwikset or comparable)—stain to match new or existing finishes.
Painting
Repair all drywall in the bathroom, tape, bed, texture, and paint the entire bathroom walls and ceiling.
Flooring
Remove existing floor covering in bathroom; install new waterproof floating vinyl plank flooring with a minimum 3/16” thick flooring. Pull toilet and install flooring up to the floor flange. Install all new base trim required for proper fit and finish. Participant will choose color.
Special Equipment
Install ADA-approved handrails at the front entry door, side entry door, ramps, and the ramp going into the living room.
