Instructions
To submit a bid:
- Download the RFQ form
- Fill out the form
- Upload it when you click the “Submit Bid” button
All bids must have an actual price good date and be itemized to be considered a valid quote. Any bids received without the requested information will be voided. All bids must be received by 4:30 p.m. on the due date.
Please be advised that all bid submissions must be submitted exclusively through the Housing Bid Board unless otherwise noted for Request for Proposals (Sealed Bids). Any bids submitted via email, mail, or other means will not be accepted or considered.
Special Instructions
Home is a 3-bed 2 bath, brick home approx. 1500 sq. ft. shingle roof. Slab on grade. Property Manager- Carla Grimmett 580 642 6035 Inspector- Corey James 580 317 7088 All prospective contractors are required to visit the project site before submitting a bid. Change orders due to conditions that could have been identified during the site visit will not be considered or approved.
Site improvements
Home needs to be thoroughly cleaned and be ready for move in. All appliances, plumbing, fixtures, window sash's, cabinets and flooring cleaned. Haul off all debris interior and exterior. Remove cameras on exterior. Contractor is responsible to have all utilities turned on if needed.
Electrical
Remove and replace kitchen canned lights. Remove and Replace exterior lights, front and back. Install new battery operated smoke detectors. Repair and replace any electrical needed in home. Restore back to working condition.
Plumbing
Install Delta or comparable faucets/mixing valves throughout, will include tub/shower, vanity. Kitchen sink, install new removeable goose neck faucet and brace up. Seal around sink. Install new waste and water supply lines. New shutoff valves. Install new sink stops. Replace both bathroom commode seat and covers. Replace both bathroom mirrors, to match existing.
Drywall
Remove and replace all damaged drywall in home. Anything hanging on walls need to come out. Install new ½” drywall, tape, bed, texture and paint interior of home, Include garage.
Flooring
Floor is glue down. Remove existing floor covering throughout home, Prep Floor. Install new waterproof floating vinyl plank flooring with a minimum 3/16” thick flooring. Pull toilet and install flooring up to the floor flange. Remove and replace baseboard, Paint. Participant will choose color.
Doors
Remove and replace 3 entry doors. Install 3 pre-hung six-panel insulated metal doors. Install all trim required for proper fit and finish. Install new combination, keyed alike hardware, Kwikset or comparable. Caulk and seal inside and out. Paint to match new or existing finishes. Paint all interior doors and trim. Install all new alike hardware, Kwikset or comparable doorknobs. Replace any hinges if needed.
Windows
Remove and replace damaged window stools/sills inside and out. Paint. Remove and replace all window screens. Clean windows and sashes. Install all new mini blinds.
Cabinets
Kitchen and both bathrooms. Remove and replace bottom under sink. Hall bathroom, Repair vanity door back to working condition. Seal around bottom.
Landscaping
Remove shrubs, grass and rocks in flower beds. Pour fill dirt and mulch to fill areas. Grass to be brought to mowable condition and maintained until job is complete. Remove vines on exterior. Weed eater inside and outside fence entire fence line.
Fencing
Repair double gate on side of home. Repair fence around property if needed. Include fence, post, caps and latches. Black vinyl chainlink.
Mechanical-HVAC
Service the hvac. Contractor to supply filters. Install new return vent and register grilles.
Gutter Installation or repair
Install all new gutter elbows at the bottom.(Missing or damaged). Include splash blocks.
Appliances
Fridge and stove to be hauled off. Clean dishwasher, ensure it is working and draining properly. Contractor to buy washer and dryer. Ensure appliances are working .
Special Instructions
All work done must meet or exceed 2019 IRC. All applicable licenses apply. It is highly recommended contractor view job before biding. Contractor is responsible for all line locates and permits required Contractor will be responsible for cleanup and removal of all waste and repair yard back to mowing condition. Homeowner/Property Manager will select any/all colors used for the job. Contractor is responsible for all measurements, and count of materials needed.
